Well, it's obvious it's not the goalie. After the Shakes tore apart another Banana Splits goalie on Friday, nobody is blaming Paul Harty the regular gold team netminder, who was at the psychiatrist and missed the game. It was close for a period. Stop us if you've heard this before. But after a 2-1 first period, the Shakes blew the doors off the Splits by scoring four times to none in the 2nd. The Shakes ran it up to 9-1 before they let Tony Onello get a sympathy goal with five minutes left. Rick Wilson had a career game, scoring 3 times. Same for Lloyd Johnston. "We were playing a bad team, I can't really get excited about this," said Lloyd.
"We have no chemistry," said Mike Uretsky. "Alot of heart, alot of talent, alot of Wood, but no chemistry." Not even a surprise guest visit by injured BBHC'er Andy Long could spark the gold team. He sat in the stands quietly with a bag over his head for a period, and after it was 7-2, he put the bag back on.
