It was just another cupcake win for the Shamrock Shakes, as they improved their record to 6-1 as the trade deadline approaches.

"What's all this talk about trades?" asked Trevor Hanson after the 6-3 blowout win. "If you're looking for a defensive defenseman, I'm not your guy."

"Well, there is one team that just sux right now, and well, we may have to send Jim Wilkinson to that team," said Rick Armand.

Yeah, The Good Neighbor had the hat trick, and nearly beat the navy Fudgesicles by himself.

Keep in mind the league's leading scorer to this point wasn't even in the Shake line up, so the 6-3 score is deceiving all on it's own.

"We're not looking to blame our goalie, but Rollie was the better guy today," said Rick Breed.

"Rick, you're too busy drawing up that ESPN contract for Beef, you can't even concentrate on Friday hockey right now," said Jumbone Teal, one of two Teal's that went pointless in the loss.

"I had a penalty, does that count for anything?" asked John Teal.

Mark Melito had 2 of the 3 goals for the navy team, but both turned out to be useless goals in the three goal loss. Rookie Rob Chuilli had the other goal, but he looks more like Joe Thornton every day.

After the game Ken Tarr was talking about some new rules in which the ref needs to blow the whistle if the goalie was thinking about tying up the puck. Sound like something out of Minority Report to us...
