Celebration short lived for Lowes. |

Mike Saia celebrates someone else's goal, in what was otherwise a difficult day for the guys in the dark dresses. Rick Breed and the teal Toys R Us team went on to drub the navy Lowes team 7-5. 4 out of 5 dentists surveyed said Mike Saia sucked, and 9 out of 10 of his teammates agreed with the dentists. "You have a better chance of running into Saia at the 99 restaurant than you do in your own zone," said a shell shocked Brion O'Connor.
"We're the smart ones," said Jim Wilkinson. "We know if we do really good, then Armand is going to look to take someone good off our team and give us someone like George Anderson or Dan Carman in return." Apparently not everyone on Lowes got that memo. Chapman and Morin each scored to cut the lead to 4-2. Wilkinson then scored one of his own to trim the lead to only 4-3. "Hey, if they're not going to sandbag then why should I?" snarled The Good Neighbor. A lonely goal late in the 2nd by Phatt Deskin may have saved the bacon for the Toys. "It's nice to see someone besides myself scoring some goals," commented Rick Breed. "I may have the hands of Mike Raimo but I have the legs of Rick Murphy. Or was it the other way around?" Each team scored a pair in the third on the weary goalies, and the teal team managed to hang on for the 7-5 win. "Don't quote me on this," said Dan McCarthy. "But Saia should be on the Cold List."
