The Fudgesicles went up 2-0 in the first, then could only watch as Trevor scored three goals to win it for the Shakes. The final one coming in OT. Marc Jumbone Teal scored one and assisted on the other as the game started nicely for the navy team, going up by a pair. "They're goalie sucks guys, keep shooting, especially you Melito," said Teal. The kinder, gentler Teal, John, was pretty much useless for the navy team. New guy Rob Chuilli looked good in his first game, but since has struggled. He and Melito had several chances with Rollie down, but couldn't put anything in. Ditto for Danaher and Maffeo who played so bad, guys thought they had traded for Mike Saia. That type of failure allowed the sleeping Shakes to climb back in the game. After a period and a half of laying the puck at the Emperor's feet, the Shakes tried a different approach, and gave the puck to Trevor. He picked part Tarr like a vulture on road kill to tie it at 2-2 in the third. The Fudgesicles had one last chance to grab the lead back when George Howard got called for a high stick penalty. They blew that chance too. In OT, it took barely a minute for the one and only shot to get by Tarr. Dan Huber took a shot from the point that was going wide, Trevor got a stick on it and directed it by Tarr for the GW. "Why Ted Miller was covering Huber and not Trevor is beyond me," said John Gambale. "We all know the only thing Huber can do is break legs, he's not a scorer."
