Effort and Hustle get Best Buy a 6-2 win.

Week 4

"It's not talent, but rather effort and hustle that are getting us wins," said Tripp Talbot after his Best Buy team unloaded on Toys R Us in a four goal rout. "Furthermore, Al Peterson is useless as a forward, but I still wouldn't trade him or Bobrycki, unless it was for Ryan Blake and some Funny Bones."

There is always one team every season which just doesn't stack up with the rest of the teams.

This season guys like Tony Maffeo, Trevor Hanson, and Mark Wood are on that Rick Breed team.

"They were missing Mike Uretsky, with him there they probably beat us," continued Tripp. "Look, if you want to downgrade our team, then take Andy Long and we'll take a different bottom of the barrel guy if will make you all feel better."

Long had one goal in this game, but left before anyone in the press had a chance to talk to him.

Mike Cormican may have got his groove back by scoring 3 times, but as we have seen, he can come and go in spurts.

"If he can string two or three more games like this together, then we can talk about how great he is," said Mark Kramer. "Until then, just tell him to pass me the puck."

The funny thing about this game was The Terminator John O'Connor had given the Toys the 1-0 lead. That fell apart quicker than an American made car. Rick Breed tried to rally his team with a goal, but he got unceremoniously snubbed from the Hot List, and his team went on to lose 6-2.

"Do I think there is a conspiracy here?" commented Breed. "Grassy knoll. All I will say is Grassy knoll."

"It would have to be grassy knoll, because we sure as hell don't have two shooters on this team," replied Mark Wood.

And so the trade talks have begun in week 4.
