Lowes falls to lowly Target, 5-4 in OT.

The terrible Target team rallied from a 3-1 early deficit to get past a tired Rollie Graham and the Lowes team on Friday in Bonus Hockey.

"It was my 5th game in four months, I was beat before the game even started," said Rollie.

Ryan Blake was the hero of this game, as he made his first appearance of the season, and notched two goals and one Hamburger Helper, including the GW in OT.

He's now averaging three points per game, which is a league best.

Rick Armand added a pair of his own, and Paul Albano, who figured in all five goals, managed to get a tally too.

"This is worst than the team I was on last season," admits Albano. "But if I can carry those guys, then I guess I can carry guys like Carman, Gavin, and Bratt this season."

After going up 1-0 in this game (it only took Blake 3:38 to get his first goal) Lowes exploded for three straight goals to take a 3-1 lead.

"Vieira tends to struggle in the first and third periods," said Armand. "We can always count on being down after one. Though we were hoping he could have kept Saia and Trabucco off the scoresheet. That is not an unreasonable request of any goalie."

Target kept it close, even while suffering through three minor penalties. When Albano scored early in the third on a soft goal on Rollie, the comeback was complete and the game was tied at 4-4.

All that was left was for Blake to work his magic in Bonus Hockey, and Target had their first win of the season.

"I suspect we'll have atleast one or two more wins this season, with or without Brady, I mean, Blake," said John Gambale.
