Best Buy takes the Long way, 8-2.

Week 3

Rene and Best Buy stuffed Woody and the Toys in the photo above, but it was Andy Long who was the key to this game, again.

Mark Kramer opened the scoring, as usual. Then Bill Osbahr put it away with a pair of goals to close out the first period.

Woody did get the Toys on the board in the 2nd, but they were outscored
4-2 in that period, and were down 6-2 heading into the third.

Or as they say in the Ryder Cup, they were down 5 and 4.

Only one goal was scored in the third, and it was a big one, as Mike Cormican finally got on the scoresheet with 2:20 to play in the blowout.

"Atleast it wasn't an open netter," said Cormican. "Though it sure felt like one."

The two teams get to go at it against next week in the back end of the home and home.

The Toys are still struggling to secure last place, as right now they are tied with Target at 1-2, but should have that taken care of next Friday.
