Target slips into last with 5-2 loss. |

Slipping into last place in the BBHC is easier than stopping a Gambale and Carman 2 on 0 break. This week Lowes ran out to a 5-0 lead and got to relax in a 5-2 win over Target. "If you missed our game today, you certainly didn’t miss much," said the league's scoring Champion Paul Albano. "I bet we didn’t have more than 8-10 shots until we scored with about 5 or 6 minutes to go. It was a long morning for the Target squad watching Rick Armand trying to catch me in the points race."
Jon Morin actually finished the game with two goal, but somehow still went minus 2 in the 5-2 win. Brion O'Connor had the shutout going until late in the third when Bob Desrosiers scored. It was the fifth time this year Bob was credited with a goal, but only the first time that nobody emailed in to take the goal away from him. So congrats to Bob on his first goal of the season, we think. Along with a goal, Mark DeFelippis got to spend some quality time in the posh Hockeytown penalty box. A hooking call and a tripping call had him nearly hitting for the cycle. Aside from that, it was a pretty forgettable game. You we could talk about how bad Saia was or how Jim Wilkinson was hogging ice time and not passing, but it's not anything new. Somebody did something to Whitey we heard, but nobody would give us a number. Someone else, we think it was George Anderson, had some nice new pants with a cool blue stripe on the side. And Jeff Rogato still looks like he's wearing a skirt with his black pants and white sweat pants. Can we all chip in for some hockey sox ? Well, we're falling asleep just writing this fable. We'll see you in two weeks for the playoffs.
