Sully and TGN lead Lowes to 8-5 win.

Week 11

Jim Wilkinson The Good Neighbor had a hat trick while Steve Sullivan played some great two way hockey, and after blowing a 5-1 lead, they managed three late goals to steal back the game.

First The Good Neighbor tipped one past Benassi, or atleast Jim said he tipped it.

"Asking Jim if he tipped home a slapshot is like asking a teenager if he's a virgin, both are going to lie," said Brion O'Connor.

Then TGN scored on Benassi from the slot. Mark DeFilippis then stuffed one home and it was 3-0 navy team. Trevor Hanson snapped one home from center ice to get the Toys on the board as period one ended 3-1.

Brian Armand then scored his first of the season to make it 4-1 in the 2nd period as the navy team started to pull away. Steve Sullivan made a nice steal at the blue line and scored a filthy wrist shot high short side on Benassi and it was pretty much over at 5-1.

Atleast that's what Mark DeFilippis was saying on the Lowed bench.

"It's over now guys, nice job," said Mark with the score 5-1 and still a period and a half to play.

"I learned my lesson last time," commented Brian Armand. "I will never prematurely celebrate a win again."

At the other end of the Lowes bench, Mike Saia was saying, "No lead is ever safe with our goalie."

Out of nowhere Phatt started a large rally for the teal team, after recovering from a first period leg whip by Ken Dyer.

With Mike "U-turn" Uretsky and Trevor Hanson spoonfeeding Phatt and Jake, the Toys scored four goals in a row to tie the game with 11:44 to play in the third period.

O'Connor, who showed up to the rink in a pissy mood, spent the entire game yelling at his part time mates, and was really heated when Phatt tapped home the tying goal into the open net behind him.

Alas though, the Lowes team would not fall to the Toys. Onello, Wilkinson, and McCarthy all scored on consecutive shots on Benassi to put this one away for Lowes, 8-5.

"It took me four games to do it, but I finally got my GAA below Speed Bratt's," said a relieved O'Connor. "Thanks God the BBHC is like a retirement home for C-level goalies, or I'd have no place to play. I wish my team good luck in the playoffs."

"Five goals should be enough for a win in the BBHC," said Rick Breed. "I'm sure all of our forwards would agree."
